Hi,

I am plain F1-H1 case, never been out of status. One exception is I was rejected my student visa the first time, got it the second time in Chennai.

Now I am planning to get my H1b stamped in Canada. Is there any reason to be worried. Did you hear stories about anybody being rejected in similar cases from attorneys, friends etc??

What is the worst case scenario for being rejected?

Any kind of help is appreciated.

Thanks

Visiting Visa for canada

In order to get your Canadian Visa, when you ask them for the temporary resident Visa, enclose a cover letter and clearly explain your situation. Enclose a copy of the 797 which states that you have to go to Canada in order to get your US Visa. Also, once you make an appointment with the consulate in vancouver, send a copy of that letter to the canadian consulate also.

I posted all the zerox copies with my original passport in the speed post with a preapaid speed post cover to canada consulate in LA. I got my passport back with in 5 days.
