really lost on how much to pay for AOS and DV Fee (DV 2011)

Hi there :)

My mom recieved the notification letter informing her she was a selectee, and then sent the DS 230 and the related forms back to KCC.

KCC then responded last month saying we need to pay a DV fee to an address in Missouri. We then went to our local USCIS field office, and they said we have to perform the AOS and gave us a list of documents including an i485 and an EAD, fees for which add up to $1010. this money is supposed to be sent to Chicago from what i gather.

I have checked on the travel.state.gov site to try and find out how much to pay to Missouri, but they have several fees listed for the D visa - one for $440, one for $305, and other surcharges...

It is my mom and I who plan to adjust status. any help would be very much appreciated.

many of us have started off like you ... here is this forum. my advice ... read these threads in their entirety - '2010 aos only' and '2011 aos only'. after going thru these posts many of your questions will be answered.

join the 2011 aos thread ... you will learn a lot from fellow forumites there.
 
you have to pay $440 ( it is the new fee for 2010) to KCC ( at the missouri address) then you will get receipt from them. after that send all your document uscis at chicago with a fee of $1010.
