Reality check re: FP notices.

While waiting for my FP notice and reading discussions on this board, I have observed the following:

1. There is *no* truth in the fact that FP notices are issued based on alphabets in one\'s name or the zip code person lives in.

2. The FAX inquiry has very little or no effect in speeding up FP notices. I have seen that those who think they got their\'s due to a FAX ignore the fact that people near their RD/ND had already received their\'s. It was nothing more than coincidence that they FAXED just when INS had already sent their notices or was in the process of sending.

ONLY RD/ND, INS\'s diligence and God\'s help makes any difference when it comes to FP or any INS business in general.

However, is there a pattern that is developing for FP invitations?

I too agree with you all. However, I observed that mid-July and mid-August saw a quick burst of FP invitations. Applying induction and a residue of hope, I expect something similar in mid september as well.
Let us wait and see.

I guess the next folks would be those with July NDs( and May RDs)
 since there might be very few May and June ND people.
 In general, Until 1O April RD, they were getting ND after 3 weeks.
 For RDs > 10 April, in general, the NDs are two months apart.
 So assuming that very few people applied between 10 April and 30 April
( only those with PDs current), we can say that there are lot of guys who
applied in May, hence the ND of July would be the next FP people
 after a smaller number for May/June ND is done.
 wht do you guys think?

I dont know if there are comparatively less people with RD b/w 10-30 april, I believe the pattern of 485 filing is pretty consistent throughout the year.

Logically it is time for people with RD > April 10 to start getting FPs, but then there is no logic when it comes to INS.

yup, i too feel that enquiry does not have much to do with notice issue. Moreover it wouldn\'t be fare as well. Just \'coz one sent an enquiry if INS responds my GOSH!! there wouldn\'t be so many miseries.
I "personally" beleive calling up IIO also does not speed up the case "generally"
anyway, my RD apr 11 and ND may 15, waiting for FP.......
