RE-VISA interview

I have got I-20 from the university which shows tuition & living expenses about 15,500/year,while my scholarship is about 16,650/year.I want to know what are the questions can be asked during VISA interview about fund .I am planning to take 2-3k$ with me.Is this amount is sufficient or I have to show more funds to get my F-1 visa.

If you are from europe or anyother developed nation, you should be fine. But if your from a 3rd world country, u should be looking for a bank statement with a few thousand in it just to be on a safe side. U can never predict the outcome of an interview at a U.S embassy.
