Hi Mahesh,
As far as I know, you need to have valid visa to come in to the US. Although you have valid I-94 and H1B papers, you still need to have valid Visa to come in to the US. You have couple of options. Either you can send your passport with H1B and I-94 papers to nearest INS office for visa revalidation or when you go to Canada for landing purpose, you can go to US consulate to get your passpost stamped with new visa. If I were you, I would immediately apply for visa revalidation before leaving the US, get this visa process over with. Since you have time until May'03, I would bet one visa revalidation than leaving this country and then getting passport stamped with new visa.
Before you take any decision, please weigh-in suggestions of other members of this forum too. I wish you good luck and have a good one.
Regards.
