I applied for asylum based EAD (first) without ASAP membership around two months ago. Since the new rule doesn't require USCIS to process asylum based EAD card within 30 days, can I just mail my ASAP membership card to USCIS or do I need to submit a new work permit application with ASAP membership card? And if I need to submit a new application, will my 'days passed' will begin from 0 or will it continue from where the application is right now?
And my work permit application has already been pending for 50 days but I filed it before my asylum application passed 365 days. It will reach 365 days in this mid July. Is it better for me to wait with current work permit application or is re-applying work permit application with ASAP membership better in order to get my EAD faster?
