Hi Folks,
Need some help with understanding the msg that INS has posted after rec. RFE response from my lawyer.
RFE issued: 12/09/2002 (Last 3 yrs W2s, Current EVL)
RFE replied: 01/03/2003
Case status online now shows........
"On January 7, 2003, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 160 and 180 days for us to process this kind of case. However, because preliminary processing was complete before we requested the additional material, the remaining processing time for this stage of your case is approximately 999 days.
You will receive a written decision on this case."
Q1: Are they saying that it may take up to another 999 days to
complete the processing ?
Q2: What's the meaning of "You will receive a written decision on
this case" ?? Is this a normal/common msg ? Anyone seen
this before getting approved ?
Thanks for your time and any feedback!
