Re: Query

Last week I got a letter from the Canadian Immigration which stated that my interview is waived. Today I got a query asking for explanation on my stay for certain dates for both me and my wife.
What kind of explanation do we have to provide (especially for times when I was just staying at home)
Also they have asked for a location in Canada where I would be going . For that do I have to just mention a location or give them an address .

Thanks,

During these dates where were you? In the US? If so were you on the bench? Were you unemployed? If you were on the bench, just write, that you were on the bench, awaiting to be placed on a project. I am not sure if this will deduct points from your experience. However if you have enough experience, then this should not be of concern.

That's correct. You have to tell them where you intend to settle in Canada. If you choose Montreal, I beleive that the processing for this is different. Do you have any relatives/friends in Canada? If so you could use their address. I don;t think, you don't have to specifically give them the address, but you could say something like Toronto, ON or Vancouver, BC or Calgary, AB

Thanks Vault !
Do the explanations I give for the dates have to be backed by
any letters or certificates.
