Joe F and others,

This question pertains to future eligibility for naturalization:

Does CIS consider change of employer and type of employment in the application process for citizenship? (i.e. From company A to B, and, or, from profession A to a completely different type of job?)

What is safe in terms of working for the sponsoring employer?
6,12,24,36..... months? Is this truly a subjective issue that will be interpreted by the Immigration Officer? I know the law doesn't specifically say.

What are your opinions JoeF and others?

Thanks for this forum,

Ysolong

Thanks for your counsel.

Here's another question:

If, for example, the spouse who obtained the GC through her husband (derivative) applies for citizenship, will CIS check her husbands employment history to verify her elibility? Or does this not matter?

Thanks, again.
