Is there a problem if I tell the Canadian immigration officer
that I would be returning to US and then moving to Canada for good at a later time.
Its common sense on their part if they see my H1 visa on my passport and all my bank accounts are in the US and I have a job in the US that I will not be staying in Canada right now.
I believe I can stay for 3 years outside Canada . What petition do I have to file to be a returning immigrant ? and when do I do it ?
In my case I am planning to work for couple of more years in the US and then go to business school in Canada.
