Is there a problem if you tell the immigration officer in Canada that you are working in the US and are just landing in Canada and planning to go back to US for your job until a future time.

Lot of people have been saying that you should not tell this information .

Also, does one have to inform the the Canadian immigration if he/she decides to move to Canada after two years (after landing)

Thanks,

Recently, I did my landing Process and while coming back to US at the Port of Entry, the Immg asked me the reason why I was visiting Canada ?
I answered that I had to do my Landing Process for Canadian GC.

He saw those Canadian Visa Papers being stapled to our passports.

And he asked, so you will be moving back to Canada ?
I said yes, after am done with my Job in US.

I was honest and told what am going to do.

That's it..He let me enter...

Just be yourself..and tell the truth.

All the best.
