i am a green card holder for the last 1 1/2 yrs..i got married recently and my wife has F-1 status...
i am filing I-130 (on my own as lawyer seems unnecessary ?) and have a few questions.
1. Where to file? i am in florida ..would that mean TSC (texas service center) or locally??/ i believe , just like me, it would be TSC.
2. Guess it takes 3-4 yrs for PD to become current and in the meantime her F-1 or H-1 status should be maintained...
3. Besides I-130 ,G-325A, marriage certificate, what else needs to be submitted.
4. Can i file I-130 and I-485 at the same time (says in one place in the form...but i guess not)
5. In case she doesnot get a job..how easy is continuation in F-1 status say in a community or cheap college...
would appreciate any response...
