I an working in an underserved area and my 2 yr home requirement has been waived. I currently have H-1b approval. I plan to travel to India--and will need to get my H-1b stamped. Can I take appointment in any consulate and can I take the emergency appointment.
The website says emergency appointment can be taken " for H-1b visa renewal for poeple returing to their jobs in US." Does this mean it is only for poeple who have a previous H-1b stamped or soemone like me who is working in US on H-1b after the waiver and will be returning to my work can also take it.
