re-FP question

Hi Guys,

Have any of you got re-FP notice, for your first FP which you had done between 15-Apr-02 and 30-Apr-02?

I did my first FP on 4/24/02 (received by INS on 5/6/02). So far I haven't received my re-FP notice.

My RD is Feb-22-2002.

Any thoughts?

i got mine

I think the way it works is:
(after first FP results already in, first FP notice is machine generated)
1) case is sitting on the shelf
2) case is assigned
3) rfe is issued
4) rfe response received
5) case goes into security check (your file goes on "special" shelf)
6) every two weeks they check if security check result came back
7) when they get the results, case is assigned again
8) then a person who opens the case finds out that FP needs to be redone
9) second FP notice goes out


that's why i think we are not getting second FP exactly after 15 months. Because it takes longer for some of us to get security check results.

They are not very good at doing stuff in parallel.

Got second FP notice after exact 15 months
Hi guys,
I got my secont FP notice yesterday in mail and the notice date is 7/30 I did my first FP on 05/01/2002. I m going to do it tomorrow for early FP. I change my address about 10 months ago and BCIS conferm me that my address is changed but I got my FP on my old address and luckly it was forwerded by Post office to my new address. Do I need to call BCIS and ask them to change my address again ??
