Hi,

My case details are as follows
I-140/I-485/EB3 - India - semi-concurrent

I-140 approved on 01/12/2004

I - 485
RD - 09/24/2003
ND - 09/29/2003
FP1 - 05/29/2004 (Myself and my Wife)
FP2 - 04/11/2006 (code 1 biometrics) - Myself
05/10/2006 (code 1 biometrics) - Wife

Biometrics - 08/04/2005 (code 2)

my wife's dates are also almost the same, at least till now.

Today we got a wierd notice from INS stating that my Wife's fingerprints are going to expire, and that she should be re-fingerprinted. The date they gave was 07/12/2009 09:15 am.

Since she barely got fingerprinted a couple of weeks ago, I am pretty sure that this notice is either a. Erroneous or b. INS screwed our application up.

Is there anything I should be concerned about? Guru's on the forum please let me know.

TIA.

Or, c. the service center did not do a good job of taking the fingerprints and FBI might have rejected them, and hence another notice. Just a guess though.

But why would they send a fingerprinting notice for 2009? Is it not too far in the future to even realistically schedule such a thing?

Hello there, Regardless what it was I think your wife shoun't wait till the app. date just go in and have the FP done. In my case the law suit deadline was May 31 and they dear to schadle the 3rd FP for me on June 2. The only logic I can come up with was that they are trying to drag everything as much as they can. This is an excuse for them. Your choise to give them one or none.

Oh! one more thing. when she done FP call this # 304 625 559(6) I'm not certain the lst digit it could be 8 anyhow try them both to clerify that her FP has bee nreceived by the FBI. I called a day after my FP and they did received it in the same day of the FP.

This is my two cents,
Best regards,
~C
