My lawyer told me that they could not make an inquiry until the processing date(JIT) is 30 days passed my RD which is March 07 2002. Is that true?

btw, will an inquiry actually trigger anything?

Where every day counts its good to know that your lawyer thinks its the RD that counts and not the ND - Mine are a week apart :|

Isn't it that you can send an inquiry after JIT has passed your ND and it's been 30 days since JIT was issued?

That's what I'm not sure why my lawyer told me. There's just too much interpretations to keep track of.
Anyway, what will an inquiry do? Will that trigger CIS to at least grab the case from a dusty shelf and put it on the table to collect more dust?

I faxed Inquiry sheet along with I-140 and I-485 Receipts even though my RD is 07/2002. Please see the Link..
