I'm here on a B1/B2 visa since November 2003, got initially 3 months of stay then applied for extension. I still didn't hear from the INS about my extension, but now I wanna leave to my country by the end of this month to stay there for about 2 months to finish some personal paperwork there. I plan to come back to the states by the end of September to take an exam in Virginia & do a training program in ohio for about 4 months. so my total stay would be around 6 months. I hold a one-year B1/B2 visa which will expire November 1. this means I'll be entering the country again about one month before my visa expires.
the question is, would there be any problems at the airport when I come back? I'll have all the documents with me (exam registration & permit, invitation letter for the training program, letter of leave from work in my country, financial resources). also would u recommend entering from a specific airport? I heared that some airports r tougher than others.
I appreciate your input.
Thanks!
