Re entry permit

Hi all,
I have a GC and I am outside US about 9 months. I plan to go back to US and apply the re entry permit in US. Let's say my US address is NY, but I want to entry into US in Florida. can I file my re entry permit anywhere in US?(I am still using my home address which is NY) Do they care I entry point in US? Thanks.

re-entry permit for my 2yrs old daughter

hello,
we just received our green card this year oct 2013 from a petition from my father and went back to the phillipines after, to finish my personal business over there. I went back here in the US last november same year and left my daughter with her mom in the philippines, so that it i can apply for a job and process my nursing board exam application during that time . . . im applying her for a re entry permit for 2 years by the time she will be here this coming march 2014 because i did'nt expect that having a job and processing my nursing exam will take that long . . . Is it possible that she go back to the philippines after the application eventhough i havent received the formal re entry permit for her? Will it not pose any problem for her residency here in the US . . . she doesnt have to submit herself to a bomietrics as i have read, that why im planning to send her bach after the apllication and paying for the permit . . .hoping for your reply . . . thanks
