hi, i would like to know specific valid reasons for obtaining a re entry permit to the US. I am a GC holder, just had it recently (roughly about 3 months) and i would love to go back to my home country for some personal/ family reasons. I intend to stay for at least a year and more in my home country (but less than 2 years). I have no intention to abandon my LPR status as I would really love to settle in the US..will personal / family reasons be valid enough to apply for a re entry permit?
