Re-entry permit surrender

Can some help provide me details on how to surrender back re-entry permit ?

We are due to apply for Naturalization end of 2006 & have been in proper status (physical presence & continuous residency) since becoming PR. Last year due to emergence back in home country, my wife had to travel back & was not sure how long it will take for her to return. To be on the safer side, we applied for re-entry permit for her & it was approved & validity is until end of 2007.
As thing went well back there, she came back to US on GC within 6 months (to be precise 5.5 months). We have not used the re-entry permit till date. I heard in such cases you need to surrender back the re-entry document or else there might be issues during citizenship. Is this true ? Anyway I would like to return back the document & know how to proceed. Any and all information will be of great help. Thanks.

JoeF, what's up with your inability to follow your own logic and answer my questions on why we should trust you when a) you aren't obligated to tell the truth to us under the US consitution; b) you aren't trained in immigration laws and c) you have expressly waived any liabilities, and making you no different from the USCIS helpline?

Is it too much to ask you to follow your own logic?

What is with you qili. Your single purpose seems to be to post criticizing JoeF as soon as he posts. Get a life and move on!

not really. I just wanted his view on how truthworthy he thinks he is. nothing more and nothing less.

he does seem to have trouble applying his own logic to his own advices while having no problem critisizing others. a double standard syndrom?
