re entry permit for kids of 4 years old and 2 months old

hi all
my family and I we are trying to get the whole family re entry permits now we are in the US so the question is when notified for biometrics that apply for my kids too? since they do not need to do biometics is necesari to take them to the asc? or only that apply for person oldrs that 14?
If not could be possible that only my wife and I needs to go to do biometrics?

tks, my main concern is about is a re entry permit a document with picture ? if so how is that may kids pictures stamped on that documents, since the form does not require to send pictures, or for under 14 theres no picture on the re entry?

I think for children they will use photos from their green card application.
