Re-entering with a new H1B approval

Hi

I have an H1B visa stamped on mine and my families passports which reads my previous employers name. That's valid until Oct 2004. Right now I am with a new employer and I have the new H1B approval with me. We are planning to visit India during July 04. My question is the visa stamped on our passports are good enough to travel and can I do next visa stamping once I am back from India ?

Please let me know what would be the proper procedure. Any kind of help in this matter would be appreciated.

You can travel on those valid H visas. You do not need a new visa until the current ones expire. When you enter present the current employer's original H1 approval notice.
