Can anyone write their experience entering Canada from US as a Canadian PR. I am planning to enter Canada after nearly 2 years. What do they ask at the border. I have landed papers( Jan 2001) and Sin card. Will I have problem if I go in my US car.
 
Yes, you might have problems if you drive your US plated car into Canada. Per CIC as a PR of Canada, you are not allowed to drive a US plated car into canada.

There have been multiple posts about this. Dig through this forum and you will find quite a few.

Try not to drive unless you are really planning to move now.

Otherwise, just be honest and you should be fine. The new rules are very clear.

If I hire a car with canadian plate would I have any problem? Where should I hunt for such cars?
If I tell them I am going for H1 stamping would that create a problem.

I am not sure my one of friend told me that You can get Canadian Plated car at Naigara Falls Ny side and also at Buffalo airport.

regarding H1B stamping no need to inform Canada immigration it means your are not staying or working in Canada and you may face more questions.
Please note that if you try to get H1B visa stamp in Canada and you are refused you can not enter US, you have to go to your home countary then have to get H1B stamp, why cant you revalide in US from Deparment? you can get it revalidated in US if you have previus H1b visa in your passport or it has not been expired more than 1 year.

Thank you Inder for the information. I shall be entering Canada from vancouver. I live in seattle. I shall call the customs authorities and post the reply here.
Regarding H1b : If my H1 is not approved in Canada can I not return to US on my old H1 which will be still valid?
I can get the stamping in US but they take a lot of time and I am expecting a CP interview in Mumbai in January. My H1 will expire by then.
I still don't have the H1 extension approval. The lawyer is very efficient in delaying all the paper work. I am expecting it in December 2nd week and if I send it to DOS in US for stamping I will not get it before Feb.
Is there any suggestion?

You have a valid H1-b now, and your attorney has filed an extension for H1-B. Technically you can continue to work fro 240 days from the date of filing the extencion of H1-b. You should not have any problems.

Currently if you are a landed immigrant from a commonwealth countyr, you do not need a visa stamp in your passport. However, this rule might change anytime.
