Re-entering as tourist after residency terminated

Hi all,

Because of some SNAFU (got my convocation to appear while I was
moving and got it too late), my residency might be terminated. I'm
still waiting to hear from the USCIS. Trouble is, my husband (he's
American) and I have booked a cruise leaving from Fort-Lauderdale at
the end of November. If I am denied and willingly leave the country,
how long do I have to wait to go back as a regular tourist? Oh, I'm
a citizen from a country that can use the Visa waiver programe.

Well... If I don't get any news tomorrow, seems like the cruise is going under. Now I'm pissed!
If I go back home, I don't have any intention of coming back as my husband would join me later in 2005 but try and prove that to Immigration agents!
