Dear Senator (last name),
I have applied for US Citizenship on (date) and the processing of my application with USCIS seems to be stuck with the FBI Name Check or at least that is what they told me today (at the INFOPASS appointment or on the phone conversation) I had at/or on (date or place).
This whole situation with the FBI name check impedes me from being naturalized, applying for federal jobs, and will also impede me from exercising my voting rights, among many other things. I plead with you to help me go through with this process and find out with either USCIS or the FBI whose responsibility it is to move this case forward.
