My company is doing my labor certification. But one person with an approved labor cert. has just left the company. He was in the exactly same position as I am. Is there any way I can use his approved LC and file for the I-140. I would especially like to hear from someone who had a similar experience.

You can use his LC, if he was doing the same job

Yes, you can use his LC, if your job responsiblity should be same as his.
