This is regarding I-485 Application ND April, 2002.
"On July 7, 2004, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appellate body for review. The notice explains in detail the basis for this proposed action. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

Any ideas on what this means ? Thanks for your Input.

Looks like they would like to audit the process they adopt for approval and the appellate body is the one that audits the process. This has happened before. I have seen other forum members have been through this.... Hope the appellate body clears the process and you get the real approval notice soon...

Advance congratulations...

On a side note: this makes me wonder... Has NSC adopted a new process for approval necessitating an audit for the new process and an approval????

Approval but send to appellate body for review

Thanks sairam1, You might be correct. I am hoping it is just formal because my wife's case has been approved as a derivative on my application.
