I have a student visa for one university in the USA for the Fall 2012 term. I recently got accepted at a better university for the Spring 2013 term. I need guidance about what do I need to do now. Every senior I ask tells me to leave for USA now,study in the first university for 3 months and then transfer. I am apprehensive about this as I'll end up spending a lot of money staying at the first university and also I am not sure how many credits and if at all they can be transferred to the second university. As far as I can understand, I will need to re-apply for a student visa I wish to go to the second university directly.Has anyone done some thing like this before?
I do not know the chances of getting the visa if I do this. I am currently working in my family business and intend to do the same after I complete my graduation.
