Hi,
I have lost my EAD in transit after TSC mailed me. So i am planning to re-apply as there will be no purpose of opening an enquiry.

Just want to check with the people who had done this, the below:

1) DO i need to specify in the application that it is an EAD renewal OR it is an EAD application for Replacement.

Thanks in advance

Should be replacement (I think)

Basically, you can start an enquiry in which they will check if the card was returned to them by the USPS (and they will mail it back to you). If its lost in transit, then they treat it as a lost/damaged card and ask that you reapply (replacement card) with the fee etc. If you have plenty of time and have moved recently you can setup an enquiry.

But its no use unless they received the card back. They will not reissue a duplicate card unless there's an mistake/correction needed on the original.
