Re-Apply/DNA test

I applied few years ago for US citizenship after living here for 17 years. However, I was asked to provide DNA test for the 2 kids that I included on my Application that was not initiated on my Green card application. DNA testing will cost me almost $1200 and the kids are in my home country.

Now that I'm due to refile back in few months, can I drop the kids off the file and file alone? or, is there a penalty/problem for doing such? Please advise and help me decide what to do.

Its a pretty fair bet that whatever was on your application the first time will be available to USCIS this time around. Generally the IO has access to your entire A file; i.e. your complete immigration history.

Omitting to declare your kids may therefore raise more than a few questions....

Mind you, if they are over 18, you shouldn't have trouble with child support
