My in-laws went to US Consulate in Chennai for a visitors visa on Aug. 8th 2005. My father-in-law is not very comfortable in English (even though we made this appointment in English 
). The consular asked some questions and my father-in-law said that he is not very comfortable in English. On the original appointment letter, the consular
1. Struck off the line that says you may appear on Tuesday, Wed, Thu
2. Did not strike off the line that says "you do not have to make a new appointment through ttsvisas web"
3. Made a hand-written notes saying "Make a new interview"
Based on this - should we make a new interview appointment ?? or can they just walk-in ? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
