I wanted to share a colleague's of mine case which got approved:

His details:

RD/ND Sep/Oct 2002.
FP2 May 15
LUD Changed on Aug 06 2004
LUD Changed on Aug 09 2004 with the approval message.

Same employer since day 1, about 30K employees company, same address.

He personally doesn't care much and that is for many reasons like he was with H1 until 2006, didn't not plan to change employers etc. And most of all he feels (I guess) bad about my case, since he knows I've been following these forums and been waiting and waiting forever. He said to me "so what now, I get another plastic picture ID, is it really green?"...

I guess the "whatever no of months" rule applied in his case.

Chicago, IL, yes an IT guru. I know his details since we work together - he started with F1, OT, H1, 2nd H1. As far as I know he followed everything as attorney told him too - FPs on time etc.
 
No RFE. I belive he even asked (as I did) the attorney if there were any, like EV that they dealt with the employer only, and no there was no RFE.
