After a long wait of 27 months, just got 4 mails from USCIS and both of our cases got approved. Relieved!!!

His last updated date was 06/18/2004. I know about him as he is my collegue. We are just celebrating his approval.

did u open up an inquiry on 485 recently?

Mine is also May 2002 and thinking of doing so.

Please suggest.

He did call the national customer service center for the first time on the same day of his approval. But we definetly don't think that would have triggered his approval.
 
I suggest when you have the option to call (30 days passed the priority date), call them
Other wise they will go ahead and approve 2003 and 2004 cases thinking all is well upto priority dates.

When you call, there is a possibility that they will look at other cases
around that receipt date.

I didn't intend to offend anyone.
Just like to see FIFO.
