I am a RD July 19 victim.My ND is Sep 05 and I think they are processing my case based on ND.My Finger Print was also delayed by nearly 3 months compared to others.I did my fingerprinting in May and since then I am waiting for my case to be assigned.Then after being veryyyyy frustrated I called the VSC a few days back and the IIO told that they have issued an RFE and it will take another 2-3 weeks for the letter to be sent out.So out of luck and have to wait for another 2 months to hear the magic words.She told me an RFE has also been issued for my 3 year old son.I am wondering what could be the RFE for him.Anyone has any clue.
So guys I am just very fed up with this INS processing.On the one hand there is the case of my friend who applied 485 in Feb 2002 in VSC and has recently got his passport stamped after his case was transferred to Maryland local office and on the other hand there are people like me waiting for nearly 15 months to hear some action to be taken on the case.
God knows either its my fault or the fault of VSC.
I just pray to the God that no one may face the situation like me.We all want to be free and I know what the pain and agony is waiting for freedom.I hope the God will listen this and give us the freedom asap.

Don't worry jnbn it'll get over soon. Look at it this way for your son it's probably birth certificate or medical exam related so relax. It's not job related or anything like that.
Breathe....you shall be just fine.

some times , if we sent all the documents , but not in proper order also they will send us RFE!!! they dont even verify for it.God help us everybody case should approved without RFE Help us god , save us please!!!

Don't worry. PAtience is the only solution to this process. There is nothing much that we can do about it. We have to wait endlessly.

I am also in the same boat as you are. My RD is 07/23/2001 and ND is 09/05/2001.

My FP was also delayed by three to four months and done on 04/23/2002.
The reason being a system glitch in the INS system.
Since then I am also waiting.

By the way, did the message on your AVM change to RFE issued.

Please let me know.

Hi GC_july the message on the AVM has not changed for the RFE.I think it will take 2-3 weeks for the letter to be sent out and when they dispatch the letter then they update on the AVM.Thats my guess.
