RD- Jan 2002 I-485 approved today.

My I-485 got approved today. This is my day, today was our marrige anniversary day and I got a very good gift.

My I-485 case was pending for nearly 35 months.

Details are :
Started Green card processing from Company A on Oct-2000.
Labor approved in 1 month. i.e. on Nov -2000
Company A had some problem to apply for I-140 due to records.
Applied I-140 on June-2001. Approved Jan-2002
Applied I-485 on Jan-24 2002
FP1 - 05/17/2002
FP2 - 04/15/2004.
4 EAD's
3 AP
Changed to company B on June 2004, never told to INS
Contacted senator.
Applied for the Expedite request, after 5 times they considered my case for expedite request. Yesterday I faxed another letter to the expedite request saying One month has passed and there is no decision on my case. Today I got approved.

This site has helped me a lot, related to the FBI name check, whcih was due on my case, after applying for the status they processed and sent back to the INS on Sept, 1 2004.

Congrats on your approval ..can you share some info

Congratulations .. must have been very painful and frustrating long wait .. and I was thinking its been a long time for me (July 2002).

I do not want to bother you while your much deserved celebration .. so anytime you feel like can you share a few details about the expedite request and matters relating to that .. I would truly appreciate that.

Also, last but the most important .... Happy Anniversary to you and your wife... hope you have this happiness going on forever now.

I requested 3 times before for the expedite request and all the 3 times it was rejected on 4 th time I specified the processing dates difference which was 18 months the accepted the expedite request and exactly after one month after accepting they approved my case.
