I am still waiting for my approval, i called INS last week when i received my 2nd FP notice. The IIO told me that my case was still pending and not assigned to an officer, in that case, "How can i get a 2nd FP notice"?? Any ideas ?????????
I am very very very disgusted now......
 
What I heard from my lawyer

When my FP was delayed (RD 4/13 and FP 3/19/2002) I was told by my lawyer that the people who do FP has no access to your file at all and they are clerical staffs who can only see a very few details of your file. All the do is make sure that every apps gets FP and its valid before the approval. They look for empty slots in the ASC and assign applications for appointment.

In your case I am guessing, its either that the clerks think that your FP might be expiring soon(I guess its valid only for 12 or 15 months? or something like that) or its just a mistake on those clerks part.
