Hi, you patient waitors and waitresses:
Checked my case today, and surprised to hear that "This case has been approved on September 6, 2000, ......".
What a relief !
My case:
Chinese, EB2 NIW (self-petitioned through my lawyer), laid off once, and employed several months later in another company.
140 approved Nov. 1998,
485 RD Aug. 5, 1999
485 ND Aug. 25, 1999
FP done on June 2, 2000,
FP result sent back to VSC on the same day (June 2, 2000) per FBI agent.
EAC # 99-250-xxxxx
First EAD received October 1999
Submitted renewal application in mid July.
Went abroad to another country other than China with AP for two weeks in July 2000 for a business trip.
Never talked to IIO due to lack of time.
Never wrote to senator or congress man with belief that they are as busy as we are.
485 approved today (Sept. 6, 2000) per VSC automatic phone message.
My wife\'s case is also approved per phone message.
I really think I am the lucky one comparing all other comrades on the net with so many heart-breaking stories.
