RD Aug.1.2001 - FP March.13.2004

Hey guys, do you think we have to wait much longer?
Our applications were recevied on Aug.1.2001/ ND Sep.14.01.
I did my FP on Jul/2003, but my wife's did not arrive until this month (completed on March.13.2004).

Would they look at our case based on RD rather than the date my wife did her FP? Is this last one is the case, we are in for a long wait....Please advise.

Your approval should be around the corner. For me, following were the relevant days
RD 06/29/2001
ND 07/25/2001
Then No FP notice for 2 years, 8 months.

When third AP was filed, it seems they opened my file and found that my FP was not done ....

FP 03/03/2004
Then came the approval in 20 days...
AD 03/23/2004.

Since they have sent you wife's FP notice, it means they opened your file for approval and foound your wife's FP was missing.

Hence once her FP is done, your approval should be quick.

I am in the same boat, here are my details

ND Aug10th 2001
Then No FP notice for 2 years, 6 months.

Finally rxed my FP notice in March completed my FP on 3/18


Keeping my fingers crossed
 
Guys...

Did your online message changed after soing your FP? My wife's has not changed even though she did hers on March 13th, 2004.

Nope, Mine still says the same

'Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on August 10, 2001. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 990 and 999 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete".

It does not even say they have requested the FP's

Does ur wife's say they have requested FP's?

My FP: 2/19/2003
Spouse: 3/17/2004

it seems FP on 3/17/2004 triggered the approval. The online status changed on 3/20/2004 that FP's are received. You should call FBI number to check the status of FP.

Since they have sent you wife's FP notice, it means they opened your file for approval and found your wife's FP was missing.

My wife's online message has not even changed from the 990 to 999 message.
