RD and ND

RD : 10/29/03
ND : 01/14/04 for 140 approved on 06/01/04

Can some one explain me why are the RD and ND have so much of difference in terms of days, and is 485 ND same as 140 ND. concurrent filing. Shoud I monitor based on ND or RD.

FP done on 10/21/04 .. Only and No Luds since 10/28.
 
Count on ND

RD when USCIS received your application by mail.. ND when they assigned case #. give or take year end vacation in your case.. however 2 month diff. is not a common one..ND is imp..

the ND and RD for I-485 and I-140 may or may not be the same. Each has it's own receiptfrom which you can make out the RD and ND of each. Hope this is clear
