RD 6/21/2001 : RFE issued on May15,2002

My case was pending for a long time. Since my EAD was expiring, I applied for the extension of EAD on May13th. I never got back receipt notice for my EAD, neither did my check clear. However, the AVM for my 485 application changed saying that RFE was issued on May15th.

Did my EAD application trigger the RFE?
 
Can you get your details to

VSC RFE Tracker List when you have your details? By the why, EAD Renewal should not any effect on your I-485. It\'s just a matter of coincidence. Don\'t think that way and spoil your mood that you did something wrong.

It is impossible. It usually takes a few weeks for them to generate and send out a RFE so the timing is not right. Also your EAD application hasn\'t been processed yet I guess because the money hasn\'t been cleared. (Will they do it for free? I doubt it)
