Our cases (Spouse and I) has been approved. Even though our daughter's (6yrs old) case still says pending status.

Thanks every one on this forum for all the information. I have few questions. May be you guys can answer some of them.

1. I heard minor's case gets approved automatically with the parent cases. Is it true? Should I worry about my daughter's case not being approved?

2. We are planning to visit India in November for a month. Can we still use our AP for travel purpose as I do not think we will be able to get our passport stamped before that. Or once approved AP can not be used.

3. What is the next step in the process ? Do we schedule the appointment for stamping or BCIS send the dates.

RFE issued , reply submitted on 5/12/04.
EAD,AP --> Applied and approved twice. Do not have dates at this time

Whatever I have read according to that your kid's case is automatically approved and you should receive a card for her without stamping.

Definitely you cannot use AP as it is meant for people who have a pending I-485.

Secondly why do u want to use AP, if you search this forum a little you will find that stamping is very very simple process and people have been able to do it in 15 mins. Depending on your local center you will also able to find the scene in the local center from the forum.

If your local center allows appointment you can take appointment otherwise you can just walk-in and it will be very simple procedure and till nov. you have plenty of time.

Our LUD changed after our 2nd FP, which was done in August.

Prem,
As per you reply, I should still be able to use AP for my daugther, incase we do not receive approval for her or did not get stamp on her passport. Am I correct? Thanks once again.
