RD 12/00 case sent to local office-any ideas,5thYearNSC,others?

Spoke to an IIO 10 min ago. RD 12/19/00, ND 12/26/00
He says "case was sent to the Denver,CO office on April 2 but they have not recvd it yet". Also said "they will send u a notice for an interview soon". Mine was an I140 approved for CP but applied for AOS. I asked the IIO if they had all the I140 stuff with them and he said "I dont have that info" . No ETA on when I can hear from Denver . Depends on "denver\'s case load".
Anyone hear of this kind of thing?? I have\'nt.
Responses greatly appreciated.
 
I think cases that are complex or have taken too

long are being transferred or have a higher chance of being transferred to local INS and that is what happened in your case.

I think most of us who are RD/ND for 2000 may experience the same fate. I think you should call/visit local INS in your area and see how they handle local transfers.

By the way did you get any RFEs before the transfer...
