Folks,
Our I-485 has finally been approved ! It has been a long wait for this to happen....

In a nutshell I was up for CP but a salary difference between my LC and my actual salary prompted my attorneys to tranfer me to I-485 processing.

There was an RFE about EB2 eligibility. And I probably have the fastest labor approval (in my knowledge)....22 days !!!!

Thanks to all you folks for your thoughts, views, opinions, experiences etc.

For those of you still waiting out there....dont worry people, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Now for the stamping...and hopefully get the physical card soon !

Congrats and questions

First of all Congrats on our approval. On our post you have said that you got an rfe to prove eb2 eligibility. How did you replied your eligibility rfe. Please provide us that also which will help us other in future, because these seems to be a new rfe.

Thank you all for the good wishes !

My category was EB2 and the lawyers had filed all the appropriate documents including educational evaluations etc. The INS came back with the fact that they needed one other educational evaluation to approve EB2 otherwise they would approve in EB3. My attorney got another evaluation done, and the INS approved my I-140 in EB2 !

This was the RFE !
