RD 09/12/01 - Transferred to Baltimore

I called the AVM on 8/8/02 and at last the message had changed - but instead of the approval message that I was hoping for the message said that my case had been transferred to Baltimore for scheduling an interview or to take further action (something like that anyway).



I have some questions about what this means:

1) Will I definitely have an interview, or may Baltimore issue an approval?

2) Has VSC looked at my case at all, or have they just transferred it to reduce their workload?

3) Does it mean that an RFE is unlikely to be issued?

4) Above all, does anybody have any idea how long it will take before I hear anything more?

Mine and wife cases also trafered to baltimore on 08/08/2002.
seems to be VSC transfering all MD cases to local ins office.
I am not sure how long its going to take??????

oh my god !!

I didn't check AVM yesterday..Now I am scared too if they transfer it to Baltimore.. i don't know how long it would take...I think this is the first time I am hearing some action on Sept cases in MD..Correct me if i am wrong..

Guys,

looks like lot of cases are transfered to Baltimore.

First, on august 7 th, my wifes got transfered and on 8th mine got transfered. I am the primary applicant.

Any idea how long it will take for an interview? what are the document we need to gather for the interview??

We are discussing this issue for the past one week.

JUST SEARCH FOR BALTIMORE ... LAST WEEK SOO MANY OF OUR USERS DISCUSSED THIS..

MY CASE GOT TRANSFERED.. NO NEED TO PANIC.. DEFINITELY THERE WILL BE AN INTERVIEW.

IF OUR DOCUMENTS ARE IN ORDER, WE WILL BE APPROVED.

BUT IT WILL DELAY OUR PROCESS BY A MONTH OR TWO..

I dont know why they are tranfering all MD cases to baltimore?.
I have seen lot of cases moved to baltimore on 08/08/02. Is there any reason??

So many cases have been transferred!

To my surprise, so many September cases have been transferred. It was surpose our turn to got approved. But they were irresponsiblly to transfer the cases to local to reduce workload and fake a high performance. VSC is sucks. And Baltimore is stupid to be volunteely to help Central Office. I feel like we've been waiting in one line for almost 1 year. Finally it's our turn, but we've been kicked out from the line and told that we should wait at another long line. It's really unfaire!

On what basis does Baltimore issues interview call...

1. Priority Date?
2. I-485 receipt date per VSC (RD)?
3. Depending on the date Baltimore received it?

AND more importantly, what dates are running at present if one of the above criterias hold good?

That depends upon immi. officer's mood ...Just they pick up the

file and transfer it to the local office ...Eventhough they do not

look inside the files also ...
