Hallo,

This is for my friend who got his I-485 approved on June 1st 2004.

RD: 04/02/2002
NO RFE

But apparently INS has sent his approval letter to his old address (though he updated thru 800# an year back) and Postoffice returned it back to INS.

Hes waiting for his lawyer to recieve his courtesy copy.

Quick Question: Can he take the corutesy copy approval letter to INS office and get his passport stamped?

Yes he can take the courtesy copy. People have done that before. You can check some threads here too describing the same
