Rare Gold I Have A Question

please check your thread page two

Eric,

I will try to help you with I already learned and experienced and I am sure that you will get valuable answers to your questions from other great people from this forum.

1. I was on B1/B2 visa, not K1.
2. MSC is Missouri, not Miami. At this service center are processed the I-765 and I-131 AP. Miami is your DO, where I-485 is processed and approved after the interview, you can check their processing dates, but you also have to know, they are not accurate, not really updated. For example, Tampa processing dates I think is still April 2004 and I am already done:)
3.The biometrics for I-485 is not the same as for I-765, one is code 2, the other is code 3. When you received the FP notice it was just for EAD? In my case it was the same, but I took with me the I-485 and I asked them to do the biometrics for I-485, too. There is no biographics interview.
4.I don't e-filled my AP, I sent to Chicago Lockbox. If I understand correctly you already overstayed your I-94, in this case don't try to travel, even if you got your AP, I might say it was useless to apply for it.
5. I don't know about how can the DO be switched.....it depends on your county of leaving and to which DO that county belongs.

I helped you with I can...there are more experienced people in this forum, they certainly will help you.

Good luck.

I answered there, but here is again:

You are the US citizen, right? Then your/wife's priority date si current, you have nothing to do with it.

"An immigrant visa number will be immediately available for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens."

You waste some money...... but more important to know not to travel with AP and you will be ok. Don't leave the country without GC...I mean your wife.

Thanks our I-94 expired 174 days before we applied for I-485 because of personal reasons, it says you may not go past 180 days how would they find out? also you mentioned about priority date? where does one find priority dates?

you said that your I-130 was approved what is the I-130 for we sent in the 129F petitionbefore my wife entered the country
