ran script on AP & EAD

Have to go home soon. Talked to IIOs three times about my AP application last week but they were not helping (of course not). Ran script yesterday on wac03-065 (Dec. 20, 2002). 165 cases found with a 34.5% approval rate. Approval date started on 1/26/03. No being approved in 1~3 weeks miracle happened here. I guess more approvals are coming soon.

While scanning the APs, I saw a lot of EADs being approved (only take about a month. Miracles!?) So I ran EAD script from wac03-054-50000 to wac03-054-52999 (the first 3000 cases of Dec. 7, 2002). The result was amazing:

Approved/Completed Count 757
Denied/Withdrawn Count 20
Misc Count 41
Received Count 1113
RFE sent Count 2
Transferred Count 3
Grand Count 1936

Tons of EAD applications might be the result of I485 delays. If INS keeps this approving speed, we may not need to worry about IEAD.

But where is I485 approval?

It's a good news. But last year I received actual EAD card four months later after EAD approval.

HOW THE ****?

I applied my EAD back in September 13, 02.. And out of 50 EAD's only about 7 got approved???? (I cannot get iEAD because lawyer recommended not getting it because I have to do this Special Registration).

After read the new JIT report http://shusterman.com/csc.html , I realized I made a wrong assumption. Those EAD approvals I scanned were for the categories of asylee/asylum and TPS, whose current processing time is 1/6/03. Ours is 9/9/02, which means the wait is still long. Good luck!

BTW, my AP was approved today. Hope the notice will arrive soon (cross my fingers).

How do you know which cases are designated TPS/Asylum and which ones are Employment based.. Thanks.

Second questiON: WHY THE HECK DIDN"T THE EAD time for Employment Based EAD's advance? NOT EVEN A DAY... Worst thing that could happen is that next JIT it starts going backwards..
