I am currently a GC holder. I hope to become a citizen this year. I am also planning to get married soon. If I marry a girl here, how long will it be till she gets her Green card? Can you give me the guidelines I should follow? When is the right time towait for marriage?

I am really confused :confused:
 
My dear Brother,

Welcome home! I have been waiting for you. If you marry a girl living here and sponsor her as a citizen , the Vermont/California Service Center should take approx 6-8 to get an EAD card.

Make sure you invite me to your marriagee ;)
