"VISA HOLD " status

Hello guys,

My case detail is
PD : 02/1999
ND : 03/2000
FP : 03/2001

I called INS yesterday she told me that;
" IT IS ON VISA HOLD RACK AND THEY ARE WAITING FOR THE VISA NUMBER..."

what does it mean ? Am i close to approval ? Any thought Please ?

if your pd became current during this June visa bulletin, then, it is effective only from July 1st. You need to wait till July first. Hope this helps.

That means nothing. It simply means you file is collecting dust. Since your date will become current next month then it will go to an officer who will then take 30-45 days to decide the case. So you got a long wait ahead of you.
