In theory - zero. In practice (and don't take my word for it!!!), if you stay a couple of weeks after quitting, you'll be able to come back to the US without an issue. If you stay for more than a month out of status - you'll most certainly have troubles next time you try to get here.
But the law is that once you quit your job - you're out of status and should leave at once.
